Something that I don’t think nearly enough people do, is re-charge. We absolutely have to re-charge sometimes, but we keep coming up with excuses and reasons why there is no time for rest. Even on the weekend, there is laundry, grocery shopping, cleaning, etc. There is always time for what you make time for.
You take care of your apartment/house right? You keep it clean and fresh, you probably make it a decently big priority to keep your home looking and feeling nice because that in turn makes you feel better. Then why don’t we do the same with ourselves, why do we not think about tidying up our minds, giving our bodies a little break, and just re-charge. I’m not going to go into how to re-charge because the way we re-charge is completely unique for each one of us. I personally have several ways to relax and re-charge but one of my favorites is to take a bath with a nice bath bomb, listen to music, light a candle, get into comfy clothes, and then read or watch Netflix. To me, that is bliss, but to someone else it might be the opposite.
Find what re-charges you and make it a priority to do it at least twice a month if not more than that. It really will be very worth it.
